On December 14 and 15, grade 4 and 5 worked with the PTO on their Eyes on Art projects. They studied Wassily Kandinsky and modeled their art work after his "Study of Color". The students were given paper that was marked off into 6 equal size boxes. They needed to create a color study in each of these boxes either replicating the same shapes in each box with different color combinations or by creating another way to represent themselves through art. All of the children really enjoyed this art project. Here is a small sampling of their work. Please click on the photo to enlarge picture.
