Dear Parents,
Spring is almost here and it's a joy to see so many of our kids playing on our wonderful new playground! See the full story, below.
We have lots of great programs going on in school -- author days, cultural arts assemblies and more. Ask your kids about it!
The PTO is Going Green! In an effort to streamline communications with parents and the school community, and to save a tree, the PTO is going paperless as of September 2008! Parents will log into the website and thereafter receive all flyers (including lunch order forms) by email. Forms and information will also be available 24/7 on this site. So make sure you check out our website regularly. Forms, flyers and other information will be updated weekly for your convenience. Your family can sponsor our website for a month to help defray the cost! Just send a check for $15 to the Norwood PTO in the PTO box and we'll list your name as the sponsor of the month.
Please continue to save Box Tops, as this is an easy way for the PTO to raise funds with no expenditure on your part. If your office discards cartridges, ask if you can have them!
We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings, which are usually held the third Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm in the school library (see PTO schedule for specific dates). We are always looking for new programming ideas to serve our children better, and for volunteers to make those programs happen. Please come to a meeting and get involved!
Thank you for your continuing support!
Annie Hausmann (President )
